Hello everyone. Recently, I found myself in a position that demands I make more money and from what I researched on BHW, working as a VA seems most appealing to me.

I'm a fast learner, I worked as a freelancer doing content creation (mostly ghost writing), data entry, transcription and research.

Do you guys know where to find people that are looking for Virtual Assistants?

Check out platforms like upwork, fiverr, and freelancer. join facebook groups and linkedin communities for virtual assistants. also, create a profile on sites like remote.co.

Go to any online working platform like fiverr or upwork and list your skills and any markets you have experience in.

I recommend setting up a profile on Upwork and applying for VA positions. Make sure to genuinely engage with potential clients by asking them detailed questions about their needs and projects. This shows that you're truly interested in helping them, which can really make you stand out.

Yep, upwork and fiverr are the most popular platforms. Joining facebook groups would also help

One thing you should consider is that VA jobs is an extremely saturated market, and can be very hard to land a decent position. However, I would recommend you setup a profile on Upwork and Fiverr. Those will probably be decent, or you could monitor Facebook groups all day and get in more direct contact with potential prospects there. That can be pretty time consuming though. I would say Upwork is your best bet, just make your profile look really solid and be prepared to spend a bit of money on connects to submit proposals. Best of luck!

hmm.. do you have a strong portfolio? better start with that one.. it doesn’t have to be professional related though. Then find clients on websites such as upwork, fiver, or indeed..

I am also a virtual assistant and seeking employment. Is there a way to find work on BHW?

To find opportunities as a Virtual Assistant (VA), especially with your skills in content creation, data entry, transcription, and research, here are some effective strategies:
  1. Freelance Platforms: Websites like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and PeoplePerHour frequently list VA positions. Create a detailed profile highlighting your skills and experience.
  2. Online Job Boards: Platforms such as Indeed, Remote.co, and FlexJobs often feature remote VA positions. Regularly check these sites and set up job alerts for relevant listings.
  3. Social Media: Utilize LinkedIn to network with professionals and join groups focused on virtual assistance or remote work. Share your skills and availability in your profile and posts.
  4. Specialized VA Websites: Explore sites specifically dedicated to virtual assistant jobs, such as Virtual Assistant Networking Forum (VANF), Virtual Assistant Forums, or Virtual Assistant Job Board.
  5. Networking: Leverage your existing connections, both online and offline. Let friends, family, and former colleagues know you're seeking VA opportunities. Referrals can often lead to promising leads.
  6. Cold Pitching: Identify companies or entrepreneurs who might benefit from your services and reach out directly via email or social media. Tailor your pitch to highlight how you can solve their specific pain points.
  7. Industry-Specific Websites: Depending on your niche (e.g., healthcare, real estate), look for industry-specific job boards or forums where VAs are in demand.
  8. Local Business Directories: Check local business directories or chambers of commerce websites. Some small businesses prefer to hire local VAs for personal assistance.
By actively pursuing these avenues, you can increase your chances of finding virtual assistant opportunities that align with your skills and career goals.

I personally recommend picking a niche and doing outreach to potential clients who might need a VA. This way, you can target high-volume opportunities. Also, sites like Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn are great for finding gigs. all the best!

There are various options like Freelancing Platforms, Job Searching Platforms, Professional Social Platforms like LinkedIn etc. through which you can find such vacancies.

I'm a VA looking for work. Is there a way to find someone to hire me on BHW?

I saw some sales threads related to VA service in Misc. sections of Marketplace, so once you become Jr. VIP on this BHW forum then you can create a sales thread for the same as well as you can apply on the listed VA jobs in "Hire a Freelancer" section of BHW. Make sure to follow BHW Marketplace guidelines.
