Is it based on page views? How can you get your listing on the first page? What's the methods?
Good question, I would like to know this too. I think it has something to do with how many people rated your service well.
I think it's all randomised, which is why you sometimes see a service on the first page, than a few refreshes later, it's gone a few pages back.
I could be wrong though.
Apparantely one of the way they determine whose offer ranks highly is by the amount of page views it gets. I did test this theory and it seems to work. I bought some cheap untargeted traffic (10,000 views) and it kept my offer on page 1 thru 3 for nearly 4 days. Not constantly, but on and off.
There may be other factors... but this one does seem to weigh heavily.
Become Featured! how?
- drive traffic to your gig
- make people order your gig and you get 100% positive feedback
- you get at least 20 feedback and fiverr will pick your gig >> become featured
- get the top page!
build backlinks to it lol
I would definitely advertise on facebook. If you niche is something related to art it will definitely work if you advertise on facebook.
when would they start a paid feature page
i guess soon. if i t was me, i would make a bidding system for the first 5 Featured position.
Nice info this will help me a lot. I don't mind spending more on traffic than I would make the first few times out, just to get a rep!
