“Guest post” << is a footprint, keyword website owners use if they accept guest post

digital marketing << is a niche keyword replace this with your niche.

See how many websites you get…

You can use Moz extension to Download SERPs upto 100.

Time for Prospecting.

2) Prospecting​

The goal for prospection is to find…

• Does the website have relevant content to us?
• DR/DA higher than 20
• Minimum traffic 1000
• Spam score less than 10
• Should have an Email or Contact Page.
• Which type of topic of content they publish.

Filter this out in Google sheet.

3) Outreaching​

Time to email.
You have a lot of information about them.

Now We send them a personalized pitch.

Take my battle test pitch which gets me 10-15% replies.

Don't you have problem with websites that are advertising guest posting publicly?

Potential issue is (or might be in the future) that search engines can easily slap these websites by creating a simple blacklist.

The model is simple. The problem is the execution.

Also, the title of the thread does not justify the content. It's not a free process per se. For some of the higher quality sites, you have crank out really high quality content, meet strict editorial standards and so on. If you are a solo businessperson, this takes a lot out of your available time.

If you hire a VA, it is not free, I guess.

Majority of small & big website offer guest posting.

It will really hard for google to penalize all guest posting site.

Even news websites does guest posting

When I started this I was doing this for 2 years by myself I focused on just 1 blog.

I wrote all my content found friend to proofread it.

Once i started making money I hired a VA and a writer.

So I think it can be done hence the title

Oh if only it was so simple.

Using this pitch you could basically contact any blog in your niche, not only the ones publicly offering guest posts. In the end of the day you're giving them content for free, and some website owners who are not too much into guest posts, SEO, etc. might be happy for this.

Yeah everyone loves free content specially those are very high quality.
I had a bad experience after a month or so they removed the link lol (not everyone but a chuck of them)

Another way to connect could be through social media. That's maybe a more natural way to connect, and start a conversation. This might work better as some webmasters are getting bombarded with emails.

I don't have experience with guest posts yet, so these are just my ideas on how I would possibly go about it myself in the future.

Sorting out free guest posts among the generated list from step 1 is a lengthy process. But overall a good brief tutorial I will say.

Nothing is free in this space especially when you're contacting really high quality sites. The best you could get for free from such sites is nofollow links.

I think websites themselves will continue to perform well in SERPs but links from them might give much less juice or none at all.

How great of a kick are you getting from them?

Whenever I ask anyone for a guest post, they ask for MONEY

I'm competing in a tuff space DR is about 35+ and the average DR in SERPs is 50.

Some competitive keywords I rank in the top 5 or top 10 but lower DR I rank in top 3.

and I don't need to build links for low-competitive keywords. They rank organically.

So I think they kick good.

I also mix it with no-follow links too so the link profile looks organic.

And have you also tried hitting up blogs who don't advertise for guest posts?
