So I am fighting with eBay, surprising, in trying to get my listings to get more towards the top. The thing is that almost everyone in keyword just lists high dollar, $30,000+, items that are just set as Good 'Til Cancelled listings. So I am trying to determine why my items are constantly way, way lower than my competitors.

I have been trying all sorts of things, maxing out pictures, adding best offer, buy it now, adding a ton of extra item specifics (which made a very, very slight impact). About the only thing I can see different between mine as the guys ahead of me is that I have HTML/CSS heavy description for my item while the others just use the eBay text editor and really have no styling outside of font-size and bold it seems.

So does anyone know of how the Cassini engine views description is HTML/CSS bad for it, should I keyword stuff, etc?

(Oh I've got above average feedback and all 100% positive when compared to those in my best match results as well).
