Is there any tricks to enable google discover and featured on ?

I use 1200px width image, theme astra pro, daily 2-3 post. Still not featured on Google Discover. website is 1+ year old (250+ post)

to be featured in google discovered you need to work on the trending topics, and constantly increase your domain authority by link building. Follow latest news topics and trending topics. You can find these trending topics from google trends and from other news sources. Also you need to apply for the google news and once your site gets approved in google news then you chances will increase for getting your sites discovered. Use instant indexing for fast indexing your website.

I don't know why I think like this but your answer is just too A.I.ish.

My method have died since then, but I think that the concept around it is still in play. Use "outside" signals to showcase a lot of interest in your content. Discussions on public groups, shares, etc...
I believe that @tattooedbuddha suggested to post a YT video and add your link in the description as well as to embed the video in your article. I never tested it, though.
