How To Get Fans For My Facebook Page

HI All,

I have seen people have millions of fans on their Facebook page. How i can get & attract Facebook users for my "http://www.facebook.com/pages/Social-Media-Marketing/267124100110" Facebook page.

I have seen people help each other by sharing the page with their friends. Can any one help me by sharing my page their friends? I always share good content with my fans which you can see on the page.

Riya, I am fairly new to FB as well but I'll tell you what I have learnt so far just to help you get going.
If I get anything wrong anyone please feel free to correct me.

You have three types of ways to attract fans/friends:

Your profile which is where you add friends.
A fan page where you can invite fans
A group where you can also invite fans.

The way to get people to join is to send friend requests. The normal way is to just find someone you want to invite and then click the invite button. This however is subject to a limit set by FB and i think its around 50/day

Another way is to buy accounts for sale here on BHW. You can get a 5000 friend profile here for around $50

These accounts are usually made using another technique for adding friends which is by using the FB apps mob wars and mafia wars (think thats the names) - This basically tracks down "add me" groups on FB and aloows you to add unlimited friends via the email invite tool. These friends are not as targetted as those gathered by other methods though.

A fourth way is to scrape emails off of the internet and then use the email adder tool again, harvesting a percentage each time.

You can also set up fan pages and groups and try to add some viral kind of element as friends of the people that join your group will see that they have joined and may also join causing a chain effect.

That's what i THINK i know so far - again if I am wrong then please correct me.
