Is there a way to get different versions of facebook or are they randomly assigned to each account? Some accounts have certain features that other accounts don't, this is usually the case depending on the country that you're registering from.

From my understanding, there are over 100 different versions of Facebook out there with different features, styles, and restrictions depending on the country.

My question is, how can I get the Vietnamese version of Facebook when registering an account? It seems like IP address isn't the only thing that FB checks. Could facebook be checking the system/browser language too before assigning a version to the account?

There is a certain feature that I need that's in the Vietnamese versions and I don't want to buy accounts as I prefer to make my own. This certain feature is never present in any of the EU accounts that I have. If you have any experience in this please let me know.

You need someone from Vietnam to make accounts for you.

It's definitely not random. Browser locale (language-country), IP address and profile data, your friends and so on probably the main factors.

Is this the only option? Wouldn't changing my system language/browser/IP be enough to make an account like this? What else could they be checking?

Hi, Facebook occasionally tests new features and versions, and these can be randomly assigned to user accounts as part of their testing process. Additionally, certain features may be specific to certain countries or regions based on Facebook's rollout strategy.

If you think the anti detect browsers and IP can't solve your problem.

You can try renting cheap VPs or renting a system that creates many VPs

To get the Vietnamese version of Facebook when registering an account, you may need to use a VPN or proxy server to mask your IP address and make it appear as though you are accessing the platform from Vietnam. Additionally, you may need to set your system/browser language to Vietnamese to increase the likelihood of being assigned the Vietnamese version of Facebook.

I think just installing the app while having a specific country's playstore, IP, etc. could just solve that for you. Citations needed on that one. There's also times when certain features are rolled out to selected accounts instead of location/ Facebook "version". That bit is a lot trickier to anticipate.

True, I'm going to test this out tomorrow.

Best of luck on it. Just to be safe, keep using the the same IP's location while accessing the app where you downloaded it from. That shouldn't really affect the app post download but it's better consistent than guessing, you know.

This feature that I need comes with all Vietnamese accounts. What's interesting is that I sent over cookies from one of my FB accounts to a friend of mine in Vietnam and when they logged into the account, the feature was added right away. Now I can use it here in Europe. First I'm going to test with browser/language and IP if that doesn't work then I'll do what you mentioned.

This was way easier than I thought. All I had to do was go to the Vietnamese version of facebook which is vi-vn. facebook .com and log into my account. The feature is now there.

Safe to assume this applies for other country versions, huh. Good bit of info, though, may come in handy.
