How to get decent traffic/sales on KDP with AMS ads

I see others getting their KDP book rank high with Amazon ads only but can't find their ads anywhere looking manually through the Amazon site. So no idea of their keywords

I've literally no idea where they could be advertising other than kindle lock screens which I haven't checked as I don't have a Kindle

Any way that I can find this out?
