I've noticed that when I use the search feature in Tumblr that none of my blogs actually show up. I assume that means all of my blogs are ghosted. I decided to build 2 blogs and run a small test with them. I built them, uploaded pics into the queue (with picloadr), and then did all liking and following manually by hand each day. I wanted to see if they would still be ghosted if my actions all looked normal. They were.

So my question is, does anyone know of a way to make sure when I set up my blogs that they don't get ghosted out of tumblrs search feature? I'm wondering if it has something to do with amount of blogs on one IP?

The real question is how many blogs do you have on one unique IP? Try only using one private proxy per blog and see if they still ghost them. That way you can compare both methods and trace out what the real issue is.

Right now I currently have 6 accounts under 1 ip. I will have to look into buying a few private proxies. I had some cheap shared ones and the accounts I made on those got basically instabanned, so I learned my lesson there.

I personally wouldn't worry about that just yet, you should be worrying about growing your blogs using the right tags for your pictures.

I've personally had my blogs ghosted after a lot of users reported them. They reported them because I used misleading tags and was recycling content from another blog. I quickly learned how to avoid that...

Keep it to 1-2 blogs per private proxy, don't post in excessive amounts or follow too aggressively to start either. There is also a time you need to wait before your blog starts showing up in search, so be patient.

You also need a lot of notes to make your post noticeable in search, if you get 0 notes you'll probably never find yourself in search.
