Currently my cable connection is 10 Mg's down, which is a "fair" speed.

I am moving to a rural location and the fastest I can get is 7 Mg's DSL, which is not satisfactory.

Does anyone know of a way to buy/build anything that will make the connection speed faster than this horrible prospect of 7 Mg's DSL?

Budget? I don't follow? I'm not on a budget, if it costs me $100 a month to get fast internet then I will pay that, as this represents a business expense and I only work from home.

I need at least 10 Mgs down because I live in the city now and this is what I pay for. 10 Mgs is not even that fast at all by comparison to what you can have.

I don't want to go from cable to dsl is the real problem. I'm not too happy with going from my medium connection to something lower.

I'm looking for someone who may know something other than the obvious that has an answer for me.

Wow, I'm sitting here just as mind blown that anybody else even puts up with that, Lol. :)

Not trying to be rude, I had no idea others did not have these options...

i tried 10 mb last year and i found that it didn't really help much, believe it or not.
many of the connections couldn't handle anything above 5 mb. but things may have
    changed since then.

Hahaha Im probably near you. I had 1 mb with Speedy but they called yesterday and next week they're going to double it for a one time fee. If you use Speedy or Net does your connection suck at times also? I seem to lose my connection quite often.
