    yeah great plan not.

You do have several good options:

    1. Simply report the profile to FaceBook and tell them that the person is impersonating you and sending harrassing messages under the guise of you. They should remove the user promptly.

    2. Send the user a message on facebook telling them they have 24 hours to stop or you will be pressing charges for defamation of character.

    3. Contact your local police department. If someone is posing to be you that's technically identity theft, harassment, and a slu of other charges.

Do not however send any threatening messages that will only get you in trouble.

You might even go as far as forcing him to get on a webcam and record a video apology telling what he has been doing. Inform the user that if he does not do this and then surrender the account to you will be pressing charges and getting the police involved.
