In some respects reddit is good because it doesn't require phone number or ID or other BS stuff to sign up but in the other sense it makes up for this on the bullshit factor with its EXTREME punishing ghosting system.

If I make a new account and post to a sub that I have no idea of the posting requirements, which they keep secret, then the account is PERMA ghosted. I determine this by going to my profile then logging out and it says something to the effect of 'oops something went wrong'.

The worst thing is that reddit works on the karma system and is populated with the most extreme wokies on the internet so even if you manage to find a sub you can post in you could extremely easily still get permaghosted if just one wokie decides they don't 100% agree with your comment and downvote you and your account is TOAST on the whole site.

I cant be bothered having to build up the account jumping through hoops, I would sooner buy an account, so would that avoid the issue? What would I been looking for? both age and comment and post karma I guess? what is the average price for an account which is strong enough to not get insta ghosted? I would guess your IP also plays a part but will shared proxies be ok? I know I lost an account that I bought by using shared proxies before so even an account with the above attributes seems to be not safe if the IP is also not strong?

Buying an aged account can help a bit, but it's definitely not a guarantee. I'd care more about getting an account with normal history and keeping the setup consistent afterward. I use Gologin with a stable residential proxy and just avoid shared proxies since they've caused me more problems than anything else.

Buying accounts or trying to work around Reddit's systems isnt a guarantee and can easily lead to more account issues In my experience its better to use one account normally for a while participate in communities that match your interests and build a bit of history before posting in stricter subreddits It takes longer but the account is much more likely to last
But I’m honestly so frustrated. I was genuinely interacting with a community I’m interested in—just posted a friendly comment like "hello"—and then my account was gone.

I believe that when you use an account naturally and consistently share positive, helpful content with the community, it is more likely to remain healthy and sustainable over time.

You can buy aged accounts in order to circumvent these problems.

honestly buying accounts is risky as hell, because reddit can still flag the behavior and the ip, and an account can be dead even if the numbers look good.

Lol this guy reddits. That is exactly what I hate. No message, just ghost. It is insulting. Rather than tell you they think that it is a better solution to not tell you and have you interacting and no one responding to you, lol. As if you wouldn't notice it!

Over time, yes but the problem is there is extreme turbulence on a new account and the slightest infraction, of rules they don't even tell you, can lead the account to be permaghosted.

The only way I found is being extremely careful, like treading on eggshells, posting only to the smallest subs until you get a good level of positive karma both comment and none comment. However a bad proxy can tank everything even with this method. I spend several days building one up once and thought I was safe so I stepped out to a little larger sub (maybe from sub 10k to a 50k sub) and make a post and BAM profile ghosted!

That is even more annoying, when you spent days building the account only to get it ghosted.

I did a test though and tried on home IP, no proxy, and you STILL get ghosted for posting to subreddits too big than you are allowed if it is a new account. That is just ridiculous, if posting totally innocently on a residential IP posting a real post and still get ghosted just because the account is new. Talk about hostile to newcomers. This kind of BS just encourages me to spam and not take the site serious if you get punished for even genuine interaction.

Hopefully they will improve that over time
Very unlikely. These things tend to get worse and worse. It is not a 'problem' for them as the site is so popular they still have gigantic traffic despite pissing off a lot of new users. It is when they become too big to fail. Just like how ebay customer services is extremely frustrating for sellers as it always favors the buyer but it doesn't matter because ebay will always have new users flooding in.

Ye I did pay for one and lose the account after just a day or two, because of the proxy I think which of course is more annoying than if you lose one you didn't pay for!

It feels like Reddit has become much less forgiving over the last year. I keep seeing people say aged accounts are the answer, but then others say even aged accounts get hit. I think there is no single factor anymore and it is more about overall account history and behavior than just karma alone.

Only way I know of is warming the account up manually and acting organically before starting campaigns

Buy accounts that are at least six months old, with comment karma and a visible posting history. Spend a few days warming up the account in the subreddits where you plan to be active. Then browse a few posts and leave one comment, close the session, and the next day do another warm-up. The following day, leave another comment. Continue with random, natural-looking activity until the account becomes stable.
