OK I thought it's about time I gave something back to BHW, so here is a neat little trick. Not seen it mentioned here before.

Adwords can be very expensive, but I have a trick to get a traget audience of a $10 product for a few cents.

Lets use bodybuilding products as an example. For example, "cheap steriods". The price on adwords might be circa $5 per click. But if you smart and fast you can pay bare minimum....a few cents.

Create your adwords compaign, but dont set any keywords yet.

You now need to set up news alerts from all the major news broadcasters. Set your search as something relevant e.g "steriods".

As soon as you see what you think will be a popular world wide article, have a good read through it and pick out some unique content. Something which would rank low on adwords. For example....you might find an article saying "Michael Rankingstein was arrested today for illegally importing steroids to the UK".

Now, add "Michael Rankingstein" as your keyword, and let the compaign go across all networks. You will be amazed on how many people will search on "Michael Rankingstein" in Google, especially if the news article is popular. The type of people interested in the article are likely to be your target market (if you use the method correctly). You can be pretty certain that the key word "Michael Rankingstein" is going to cost you hardly anything on Adwords...so you just made a big saving, and reached a similar target audience.

Hope you like...if so click the thanks.

But they will look for "Michael Rankingstein" and not for steroids. they may click your ad , which cost you some cents. But conversion?

its a good idea but you cannot guarantee targeted traffic but it will be low cpc so even with less targeted traffic you will still save some money, thanks for the share :)

Yes it will bring traffic but i don't think it will be targeted or will bring enough conversion for your site or product. Not something new, people use it but for different purpose from long time. Also somehow it's negative for your actual targeted keyword and it seems very tough to find something which is bringing positive aspects for your product although not impossible if you give it some thought and use tweaking.

ya, I too think your conversions will take a beating. When you associate something negative with your product like "Michael Rankingstein was arrested today for illegally importing steroids to the UK" it will drastically reduce your conversions.
