Hi all

I am looking to spend no more than $100 and buy one really good link for a pay site of mine. I have a good back link profile but think I need one marquee link to push on to the next level.

Obviously I want the link to look natural.

I have heard about people writing for Forbes and other highly respected sites that will unofficially 'sell' you a link. That is, they will write a legitimate article around a topic and then mention your site in the article in a natural manner.

Do these people exist? where can I find them? How much will it cost me?

Also UK sites would be preferable as me and my site are based here.

Cheers

There is a BST for this service.

They cost a lot more than $100.

Anything other than forbes that is cheaper? With all due respect I dont want one that is being marketed on BHW. Can you legitimately buy a forbes type one off these forums?

1 link wont do much but if you insist you can find this service in the marketplace.

Use the $100 to travel to the writers house and offer yourself to him for a link.

Otherwise keep saving your pocket money and when you have a $1000 buy a link from them.

They know the power of these links, and for $100 its not only grossly under the market value for a forbes link but its also not worth the risk of them loosing their jobs or writing contract.

Thanks haha.

Aww man i was really hoping for some useful input on this. Looks like PBNs is my only option (sorry to say that naughty word on WH area)

u can get them, but they will cost u try adding one more zero to your budget and people will pop out FYI just because things are sold here dosent make u at any risk from google, and as avi said u wont get any value from buying a single link

Welcome to BHW. This type of sentiment can do nothing but breed ill will.

Some of the brightest minds of internet marketing and crowd sourcing congregate here regularly, and the links you buy here for premium site articles such as forbes, huffingtonpost, etc... are just as valuable as if you bought them anywhere else. If people didn't get their money's worth on these thousand dollar purchases - these services wouldn't continue to be offered here due to shitlist feedback.

Did you really think someone would sell you a link on forbes anywhere in the world for $100? You get what you pay for chap. You want a link worth $100? Go place one on any web 2.0. See if that gets you a million bucks.

As I tried to make clear I wasn't trying to disrespect the Forums, I just see a lot of promos on here promising the earth for a pennies so had a healthy degree of caution I feel.

To be honest I thought it was all big spam campaigns and High PR directory type stuff that was available, but with this knowledge that there is higher end stuff available too I will browse the BHW marketplace.

As for being way under budget, that's why I asked. I didn't know what I could get for 100, but now I do so thanks for that :)

Also I ofcourse realise one link isnt the be all and end all but I'm pretty sure its useful for TF on a site with a minimal BL profile.

Still you can get good links from quality sites for your $100 budget..If you are still interested in this then we can assist with you. We got some sites according to your budget.

The affordable or under $100 solution to getting a "million dollar link" is limited to these options:

1) Join HARO: Based on the niches you have or can acquire expert knowledge in, you can join the help-a-reporter-out service and then become a source to supply them with expert info. Frequently this will lead to the reporter using your material to link to your site (this works best when it has the look and feel of an authority site). If the article ends up on Forbes, HuffPo, et al, there's your premium link.

2) Big Game Freelancing: Alternatively, YOU can be the one writing for a big brand online publication or writing service that pays dearly for content ($30, $50, $100 or more per article). This can be quite difficult due to the high quality expected, or the time involved submitting in hopes of getting a yes from someone. But if accepted, the content will often be found on a prestige site, with your link. Perhaps you can outsource or JV with an expert who usually gets paid low IM rates (under $10 an article), and pay them twice as much to get premium content to shop with.

3) Expired Domain with Premium backlink: There's a gig or two on SEO Clerks et al offering to provide a expired domain that already has a Forbes/HuffPo or other super link on it, for prices ranging from $27-$50 last time I checked. Sometimes buying the domain will only cost the normal registration price of $10 extra, sometimes more. The domain would make for a strong PBN site depending on the other metrics, or serve as your actual money url if you haven't set it up yet.
