How to get a blog listed in Google News quickly

Anyone have tips on how to get a fairly new news blog listed on Google news quickly?

I understand that the urls of each post should have numbers.

I also understand that the posts should be newsworthy, original, current, and late-breaking.

Anything else?

Nope, i thought you were giving the tips.

I don't think they are still following that old rules of having numbers in url again, it's ancient. But about the rest, yes and you can ONLY submit certain categories, not just your full site.
