How to get a better sleep?

    Hey guys,

    i am wondering if you could help me. I sleep very bad.
    I sleep at 5 or 6 am till 2 or 3 pm , now its almost 1 am and i tomorrow my university starts where i have
    to wake up every day at 6 am or some time a bit later!

    The problem is, if i sleep 'normal' and the next day if i dont have to get up early i sleep too long
    then i cant sleep in the night anymore!

    Many people suggest sports to get tired and sleep well but imo i am a very lazy person.
    i would really love to make sports but i have zero motivation. I am also signed in the GYM but i think i was
    2 or 3 months ago there the last time!

    Today i woke up at 3 pm i think and i slept at 8 am because i couldn't sleep . now i am feel really tired but can't close an eye!

    So i ask if anyone has good tips which he use if he cant sleep ?
    I tried teas but they don't work, also hot milk with honey doesn't work for me...

    One time i got some light sleep pills , well i got tired from them but in the next day i had big headache so i dont wnat to use them again.

    Two things: eat well and hit the gym every day.

    When your body is fueled healthy and you exercise daily you will sleep great and wake up every day ready to kick ass.

    It is well worth making these changes...it will help you in so many ways beyond just better sleep.

    ah make your routine get daily 8 hours sleep only not more than that.
    Put an alarm so that u can wake up straight after 8 hours.
    and eventually u will sleep as soon as you climb ur bed.

    honestly,same thing happens to me, I end up having to do a full day without sleep, then the next day i can sleep again.

    I rarely have insomnia but when I do just two shots of Old No.7 (Jack Daniels) puts me right to sleep.

    I don't drink alkohol :D

    The GYM is a really good idea but what should i do to motivate me?
    Also i feel the whole day tired and lazy! I only go out if i have to!

    me too, i got it. you should go with tips from netmoney1. i tried it, and make me always already to fuck someone everyday. :D

    if you have zero motivation, you should think about the impacts in your career and success in the future.

    Some sport activity is definitely a good idea.
    But 2 cents from me, what really helped me and something I can't even imagine my sleep anymore, are simple, cheap, ear plugs. :)
    Try them once and you will never sleep without them anymore.

    try getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep, you'll wake up way more energized and your body will be able to fall asleep right on time every day without an alarm clock once you start sleeping 7 hours a day, it's great.

    try partying hard, not sleeping the whole night than going to sleep in a normal hour.

    Hello I recommended You herbs Tea .Please mix :melisssa+lavender +humulus and I guarantee You will starting sleeping in max 30 min (You may use only melissa as well).Plus using herbs is that sleep is deeper .You may sleep 6 hours but You will fill like You sleep 10 hours . I hope it will help You .

    Of course You may use other method like body activity , relax music , fresh air before sleep , ,And better dont eat few hours before sleep .
    And of course dont use any stimulants before sleep like : coffe ,green tea, etc

    Consult a doctor and take a light dose of xanax.. That will bring you back to the habit...

    I have a really physical job so that means I'm out like a light by midnight regardless if I want to be or not. So I guess the best alternative is the gym.

    In order to get quality sleep you have to stay healthy, i.e. do not eat junk food, exercise regularly and do not sit in front of a computer all day long. Also, it is best to go to bed early at like 10 pm and wake up at 7-8 am so you get 8-9 hours of good quality sleep.

    I used to have sleep problems until I started to follow a healthy lifestyle as mentioned above. Now, since I a fixed schedule, I have no problems getting up early and always feel refreshed.

    Try it out for a week and see the difference yourself!
