    Hey guys,

I have roughly 2 months before university starts, and I wanted to really help out my father's computer business before I get too busy with school.

I noticed that its very hard to find our store on google. You would have to search computer store ______ road to find our place. If you search up computer repair [insert local area name here] or even computer store [insert local area name here], you wouldn't even find it through Google.

We have 2 google reviews, 3 Yelp Reviews, and have been an established store for over 20 years in the same location. We get a lot of b. repeat customers, but I just feel there are so much untapped potential, both locally and through the web.

I was hoping to fix this issue, and also update our website's design, but for really cheap --- my dad is going in for surgery at the end of the month, money is going to be tight as he won't be back at work till September after that.

I wanted to use Fiverr or SEOclerks to get those jobs done, but will they genuinely help? They are too cheap, so would their methods of gaining traffic/seo get me blacklisted from the Google ? As a reputable store, thats pretty counteractive

Please help me find cheap but genuine ways of getting SEO -- PM me if you have any ideas.

    Thanks!

before all these,, spend some time in choosing the best keyword for your website. because keywords are more important to enhance the visibility of your website. all the best..

A couple of things you could do:

1.) add a blog to your existing website and write blog posts on a consistent basis. if you can do once a week, do once a week. if you can do more, better. if you can only do once a month, DO IT. The important part is: your website has activity. It's the website activity that sends signals to Google that your website is still alive.

2.) Get your social media going. Does your biz have an FB page? How many likes does it have? Do you post regularly? You can use social media to funnel your existing community's interests to your business website. Don't have likes yet? Ask for them. Do an offline campaign to get likes on your FB page and other social media accounts.

3.) Don't have a website yet? Make a youtube channel. Get a google account and shoot some vids with a decent camera or an iphone. Don't know how to properly shoot videos? Watch tutorials on youtube.

If you need help, send a PM.

Yeah, I'm setting up some more direct stuff too --- Kijiji Ads, Flyers, Changing the Display Window Stickers etc..

But the lack of coverage on our website is worrying to me I suppose

Some of those and more are covered in this post:
    Code:
     http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/white-hat-seo/740933-6-ways-increase-your-website-traffic-get-ready-work-smart.html
And you did not mention onsite SEO...don't know if you reviewed that or not, but some tips here:
    Code:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/white-hat-seo/198080-basic-search-engine-optimization-practices-newbies.html
But, from what I understand, Fiverr and such should be avoided for anything long term. They are just fine for a crash and burn sites that you want to pump for quick cash.

I would not be too concerned, I doubt a website ranking for "Computer Repairs Local Area" would get much traffic / business. If I want one of my laptops or computers fixing guess what I do, I simply take them to the nearest computer repair shop, one of the four I know off the top of my head. I have no need to search Google for a computer repair shop in my area. Maybe if I broke my laptop when I was away, then I would search Google. I would be surprised if the exact search for your keyword is over 10, my guess is it is that little it will show 0.

Just buy one ... a lot of free premium themes are fucked with scripts and malicious code ... I would rather pay the 50$ and sleep well at night.
