Hey,

I'm trying to find wpmu sites where I can make a free blog and build some links to my sites.

Does anyone know some good search strings that I could use to find active wpmu sites?

Thanks :)

LOL, well that doesn't really help me here. I already know of LFE but I was asking about how to find sites myself via google.

Does anyone know some good footprints I can use to find wpmu sites?

Thanks

try this footprint in Google, wp-signup.php
if you can get a hold of blog farm generator by Joseph Tierney it'll find wpmu blogs for you based on keyword.

This is a pretty good one:
Code:
"(We'll send your password to this address, so triple-check it.)"

some of them doesn't work, or won't let you register with gmail, yahoo accounts or other free accounts. but it's goods method for BLs :)

Read a WPMU Signup page carefully... you know like those "Spot the Differences" riddle we used to solve when we are young tots. You should be able to come up with at least 10 combinations. I was able to get more than 25.

Then use each of those with some popular domain extensions (i.e. TLDs) e.g. com, net, us, org, biz, info etc. and you've just multiplied your footprints.

Total Footprints = Footprints * Total-TLDs

So, you have...
site:com "(We'll send your password to this address, so triple-check it.)"
site:net "(We'll send your password to this address, so triple-check it.)"
site: org "(We'll send your password to this address, so triple-check it.)"

....and so on.

Don't forget the all powerfull allinurl command of google and the fact that Google supports wildcard... so you have this

allinurl:wpmu*/wp-signup.php

Regards
