    Hello all,

this thread is not how to use PRSTORM, nor how to use Url harvesters ./ scrapers.

I have read all posts regarding backlink generation using prstorm, statblaster, backink speed . . . i have downloaded and used url harvesters like domain grabber, googler, serpscraper.

Last time i used PRSTORM was 6 months ago on a site i just launched and in a few days it went to PR4. i used the url lists provided by other people. However, last week i tried to use the same url list i used before to boost PR without any success.

In almost all threads i ve read i see people suggesting to create YOUR OWN URL list and use that, instaed of the ones provided on the threads.

For that reason i have download all those domain / url harvesters, after palying around a little bit, you dont have to be a rocket scientist to learn how to use them.

    MY QUESTION:

Here is the problem i am facing:

Lets take serpscraper for instance. what are the keywords you will use in order to find URLs TO use in PRSTORM.

    i have tried the following:

    Generated by Webalizer Version 2.01
    Generated by Webalizer Version 2.02
    Generated by Webalizer Version 2.03
    Generated by Webalizer Version
    Created by awstats
    Advanced Web Statistics 5.5

i have gothered a lot of urls and i fed them to PRSTORM.

    1. Is this how you do it?
    2. are there any other footprints i should use?
    3. a lot of people suggest to create a url list based on your niche. My niche is self development, so what are the combo keywords i should use?
    4. i see people posting like 400,ooo urls rof prstorm. What keywords do they use?
    5. any step by step guide would greatly aprreciated [NOT how to use PRSTORM / FED TO PRSTORM] Rather HOW TO FIND the URLS

    Thanks guys

    Poly

    Code:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/200629-get-footprints-finding-referrer-spam-sites-ping-mode-scrapebox-also-prstorm.html
    1. Pretty much
    2. Look above
    3. I dont blast my domains directly. "self development" i guess
    4. 400.000 domain-referrer-sites? That would be alot of duplicate domains.
    5. Look above and scrape them with a url scraper

It's more about the number of hits to each statistics-site that determine if your URL will show up in the "top referrer" logs.
I scrape as many as i can and use those with high page rank.
If a proxy fails in PR storm it won't move on to the next one = revealing your ip = not good at all when doing big blasts

    PR storm isn't crappy, IMO.
But i'm using Scrapebox, it got a "PR storm mode" never tried Xrumer... and you don't have to if the "referrer thing" is the only thing you want to accomplish...

Don't need to buy alot of softwares when it actually works with "free"/DIY, ones. It's all a hype, even if it make things easier.

    Guys thank you.

    One last thing:

when i harvest urls, using keysearch: awstats, webalizer,.... do i have to strip the urls to just domain.com using a url washer, or can i just feed domain.com/gkkoiu/(67jhg).asp to PRSTORM?

    thanks
