    Hi BHW members,

I am learning a lot from this forum and i am really newbie at making money over IM. I read so many journeys and ebooks about creating a mini authority sites so i decided to go into it.

I know that seo optimized, well themed, LSI keywords used high quality articles are the crucial part to rank at google and attract visitors.

My main language is not English and i am not good at writing articles so i have to outsource the article writing part. :(

There are tons of people who can write articles but what should i look for in an article to be a high quality? Or anyone can recommend someone who writes really well researched high quality articles? I don't have much budget so it shouldn't be so expensive.

what do you think? a high quality article can rank at top 30 without backlinks? so what to look for in an article? subheadings, LSI keywords?

Waiting for your suggestions and recommendations.

    Thanks
    Regards

Hey mate, glad you're learning lots! It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes with so much to see and do. Anyway - What you should look for in a high quality article is someone who provides value. Put yourself in the persons shoes who reads your article and ask yourself 'is this informative and giving me the answers I seek'. If yes, then it's a good article, irrelevant of length (though ~500 words is a good base). I cant personally recommend anyone as I don't know your niche. I recommend you take a look in the freelancer section here, or you could checkout a site like iwriter.com

I definitely think you're going to need some backlinks, though. Ranking top 30 for even a moderate keyword without backlinks would be tough (I'm not even sure if you could do it). So my recommendation would be to have a dig around here, post your job with all the specifics, get your article/s, then begin to build out your site and build backlinks - if that's the path you want to go down.

It's hard to give you any concrete information as your post was very broad in nature, but feel free to ask more questions once you get a handle on exactly what you want to do. Hope that helps. Jon :)

If you're looking for an article writer I know someone who may be able to help you. He's strong in tech related niches, but he might be able to do other areas as well. I chatted with him before and he was kind enough to write up a sample in a niche I selected.

If you're interested, send me a PM and I will give you his Skype.

Keep a good budget for articles. $15 for 500 words will get you an article that ranks. $2.50 for 500 words will most likely be worthless for your site content.

If I buy content, I spend 15 bucks for the 500 word article. Why? Because this guy makes amazing stuff that just seems to rank so easily lol.

there was a guy here, Nigel_Farange or something... he's banned now but you should search for his posts... it's a good example of what your content should look like. The guy had the most engaging posts ever and I really liked how he kinda had a dark side :)

as Culearone said ... you have to write for humans and have some feeling to it, leave your audience asking questions about your content... make them want to read more just for the sake of it and leave them asking themselves "Is everything this guy writes so good ? Is he insane ? Is he retarded ?" any of those will most likely make them want to read another article/post/comment/whatever :)

Unfortunately Nigel was a paranoid dude so I don't know where to find his content (other than here) but whenever I read a nicely tailored article on a news site I always imagine it's him :D

Damn man, that brought a tear to my eye.

OP: Begin your content with a keyword in mind, research it and get a feel for what it is, and just start writing. Let it flow, humans love reading engaging blogs so get them involved too. Ask questions in there as well, get your readers as interested as you are!

more that the quality of content, its the keyword research that matters, if the keyword is good, then in most cases a good quality article is all it takes to rank, if the keyword research is not good then it would require additional offsite effort for the rankings. Google does not understand the quality of any article by its writing (of course it should not have spelling mistakes and have basic correct grammar), other than that it looks at the interaction of the users with the content i.e. time on site, click thru rate, bounce rate, sharing and comments etc.

If you decide to outsource, avoid the "unique 500 word high quality" articles that are advertised on every webmaster forum for $5 each. You might find the odd writer who produces masterpieces, but most of the time you'll find five sentences saying the same thing and very few points being portrayed across the article.

Paying more for articles is the best decision I have made. I'd much rather have three $20 articles on my site that are written by a proper writer, than twelve by someone who is trying to make the word count as quickly as possible.

Thanks for helping i PM ed you :)

Yeah thats right, i realized that. Before i was trying to find the best price for 300 or 500 word article, but now i am trying to write myself or hire a quality one. I think having less with hq articles is better than having more with crap articles. right? instead of 30 articles paid 75$, should i pay for 7 articles for that money?

Thanks for the info, i got it. I will try to write by myself and write as feeling it.

Thats correct, i will write about subject whatever it comes to my mind related. First i will make a quick search than write the things i have learnt from quick search. My English is not very good so i have to create simples sentences :)

Thats right i am going to do that! Thanks

Really Nigle-farange is the best in article writing?

Really paying more for articles is better? do they rank?

    thanks

Is it a foregone conclusion? No.

But the chances are much higher and in my experience, it is proving to be much more successful. If you're in it for the long-term, it's the only solution in my eyes. I've found a lot of the articles which I've paid good money for are getting linked to from forum threads etc, basically people are seeing the article as a valuable source. Cheap articles on the other hand are often regurgitated or in a lot of cases, don't tell the reader any decent information.

Some people will always have the knack of ranking poor articles, but for me that famous and annoying cliché of 'content is king' is working better than ever.
