I checked a competitor's backlinks and this is what he is doing: his links appear in a small paragraph in legit websites. these are not niche relevant. and they are definitely not PBNs. these are real sites. so for example, let's say his website is wedding planner. the backlink appears on a site about indian food. so in a lame attempt to look legit, the paragraph says something like "indian food recipes are great. but don't eat too much because you might end up becoming a wedding planner. once again, just in case someone is going to suggest these are PBNs, these are not PBNs, these are 100% legit, aged sites. and they are definitely not guest posts. my question is, how do I get the same kinds of links? is it just a numbers game? do I email 1000 website owners and ask them if they would like to sell me a link and one will reply? is there a more efficient way of doing it?
