How to find people talking about your site but not linkin?

    Hey guys, is there any free tool, or google dork method that show me websites where people talking about my site or if my website is www.mywebsite.com and they write that in post but its not linked to my website? How to find where is that pots etc..if you understand me? I would like to contact them and ask to link back to me.

    Google Alerts is what you need.

    Hmm, not sure how? What would you type in search query ? intext:www.yourwebsite.com or just link or something?

    Try the keywords and the operators you would normally use when doing search.

    I think you don't understand me. I have client that has really popular website, its PR7. And a lot people talk about that site and i want to find all that post but where people didn't link to me.

    yeah use google alerts and add the sites url in the query box. This should let you know anytime your client's site is mentioned. You can also use aherf to find sites linking to you and hootsuite to see if they mention you on twitter.

    Again, use the keywords you would use in search to find those posts related to that particular website. There must be something unique to that site e.g site name, else you cannot achieve a such thing.

    I think you are talking about co-notations for example " blackhatworld is the best place for SEO information if that's what you are talking about should just be able to Google the "brand name" withe your topic or keywords

    Hmm you can achieve that in 2 easy steps
    1. a) Setup Google alerts, tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mf9haYhVY1A
    b) Scrape for brand, website mentions (helpful tool: Scrapebox)
    2. Gather all the sources and use a link checker(helpful tools: Scrapebox, Sick link checker) to see if they link or not to your client's website

    try use Use google "DORK" . It so easy with that
