how to find out which hosting company a website is using

    iv tried a search in google using whoishostingthis.com and other but they all give me different hosting providers for the websites i am searching for,any way to find the most accurate way,i ust wnat to know which hosting company a website is using so i can use the same one,many thanks

    Try doing I whois lookup and look at the nameservers, they should tell you the name:)

    i cant ask the website owner,they wont tell me.il do thw whois search now,is there any other methods?

    well, the most important thing is not to whois the domain but the ip address. ip-addresses are registered through RIPE mostly. so go to RIPE website and do a whois on the websites ip address. should give you the most reliable results.

    beside of that you can also check the domain whois and combine it with the ip address whois.
