I have a website about a year old and hadn't done much with it (I basically let it sit). But recently I've noticed it's getting about 150 hitd per day. Not many I know, but I'm actually getting some conversions from it.

My question is, how would I figure out where it's getting traffic from? I tried Awstats, but that mainly shows IP addresses. And I really don't have many backlinks. Is there any other(better) way than awstats to find why I'm getting these hits?

    Thanks all...

I like to use Google analytics its simple to set up and give detailed reporting.

I personally don't like Analytics, I think that they use it to indirectly promote AdWords, but that's just my conspiracy theory.

Try Statcounter, it has live reports, and weeds out useless things like bots and such.

I'd highly recommend Google Analytics because if at some point you want to sell the site, then the buyer will ask you for Analytics Report, so you might as well have it.
