Its very simple. Become a PROFILE SPY!

View their profile here then scan though ALL of his/hers past posts. You'l quickly get a good idea what they are up too. Usually, BHW marketers will reply to posts closely related to what they are doing or know about.

For example, the UK guy who just bought his 90K merc. Read though his past posts. He knows alot about adsense :D

and he does web design or at least thats what his profile says. Maybe he has a company in their field who knows and he claims his made his money all BH way. I wonder if that is only party true.

The point is though, its gives you a very good idea!

Also, many times, the first few messages posted by a user tells you what niche or thing they are looking to get into. You will see them asking all kinds of questions related to their desires. Then, much later on, you will discover that if they are telling everyone how successful they've become you can pretty much guess that its related to the nobbish questions they asked when they first joined (topic) Found tons of example like this.

Not hard to find out what people are doing and not hard to find out what is and isnt working.

Why would anyone want to do this. To become successful on the internet you must become a leader. If you follow forever you will FAIL!

Step out of the box, man the fuck up and take a chance. Pick a method and run with it.

Would you like to be the bitch that wrote something like the op or would you like to be the badass money maker that everyone is trying to spy on??

    Think about it.

You can't be a leader without being a follower first.

You should always emulate successful people. One thing I learned in life is it can be a lot more profitable to be number 2 than number 1. If you can learn from number 1's mistakes and not waste the money learning it then you can actually come out ahead in the end.

Stealing someones ideas and passing them off as your own is another matter. I see these F-ing Gurus claiming some new method all the time when it's rehashed crap that's outdated.

How do you figure that? Do you think Bill Gates was following someone? The guy who invented Google?

Step out of the box, come up with your own ideas, and try it. I believe in positive thought brings positive action...

I think you missed the point, and you will probably always be a follower.

i think the op makes a good point.

we are on bhw to read other people's posts anyway. you can choose to frame that as 'following' or 'spying', but then you're kind of fucked anyway with that mindset.

the way i see it, we can either read a bunch of random unrelated posts from different people, or we can read a bunch of related posts from someone who's highly successful in a single area that we want to enter.

i think we'd learn more from the latter.

Guess I will have to start writing SHEMALE in all my post so that way every PROFILE SPY will think that I makes billion from the SHEMALE business.

Yeah I make zillion from the SHEMALE industry, hear me?

Hard to innovate if you don't know what's already working and what's not.

Learning from other people's mistakes and successes can save a hell of a lot of time compared to starting from square one and figuring everything out yourself.

Lots of great achievers got there by standing on the shoulders of giants. They didn't build their own ladder.

This is a good tip actually. I usually look at posts that are on the stickys and then see what other posts the creator did. Its just a learning tool usually if I find a thread I am interested in I will see what other posts the creators did. Get some good nuggets of info there. But it is up to you with what you do with the information that you find.

Actually Yes I do think Bill Gates did follow a lot of people. Back in the 1970s you had to do that by reading magazines. Seeing who and what was being published in magazines like Popular Electronics, BYTE, and others. Had he not done that he wouldn't have learned about the new Altair computer. Had he not moved to Albuquerque, NM to sell MITS on distributing their BASIC interpreter with the new hobby kit computer. If he hadn't known how to follow the right people he might never have 'stepped out of the box'. In fact most of that happened because of advice from his friend Paul Allen. If Bill Gates hadn't been following Paul then he might not have dropped out of Harvard and the world might be a much different place.

You can find similar examples in the life of Larry Page and Sergey Brin. There are very few successful people in the world that didn't start out by following others. How do you think they ever had a clue on what types of things could be profitable for them?

The OP had some good advice. People smart enough to understand why it's such good advice will have a little advantage in making there plans and strategies work.

Even moneyarnerz puts it harsh way its true, the real deal never follows. I remember doing stuff in Seo that no one did at that time, thats when i was making most of money, its casual stuff now but 10 years ago it was big

Lol yes and yes these are horrible examples. Almost every huge company like those took someone else's idea and made it better its almost never an original idea. There were dolls before there was Barbie and there was software before there was Microsoft. Many search engines including Altavista and Yahoo came before Google. So this post is just plain dumb.

I'm not saying you should or should not copy someone else though they both have there benefits. Copying should get you there faster, yet original ideas give you more sense of pride in your work.

I think you're missing the point the OP is making. It isn't about following somone else to do the same exact things they are. The idea is to pay attention to what the top earners are doing, so you have an idea of what kinds of things work. Once you have an idea of what seems to be working the best, then you can put your own twist on it, or come up with a new idea. You have a much better chance of coming up with a successful idea if you already have a good idea of how others succeeded.

One of the biggest complaints you hear from people on this forum is that there's too much information to sort through. The OP gave a formula to follow that can help sift through all that info to stay targeted on individual topics. I have several people that I follow. Whenever I want some information on a topic I know which members are the top in that field, so I go look back through their posts. It saves me a lot of time, and keeps me from having to reinvent the wheel each time I start a new project.

Rather than ridicule the OP, you might give the suggestion a try.
