How to find out the name of the theme used in any wordpress sites ?
any idea ?
look for /themes/XXXX in the source code....
just right click on a button or some other image element form the theme and click view image (this is for firefox).
Install Chrome, go to that particular website, right click in the blank area and click on Inspect Element. After that go to Resources and look for style.css (Most of the designers use style.css as the default css). Open that and you will see the Author details, theme details and all sorts of other details.
P.S. Make sure you are using the latest google chrome
Just check the source code for the theme. You will usually find it at the start, under the <title> and <meta> tags.
look for something like:
Thanks for all the Responses
wow This is amazing.....
Thanks for the share
Ditto! Thanks for that link.
Is it possible to hide this information from being found out?
Guys why are you so lazy. I see that 5 people thanked for that website. You need a website for that? You just need to right click on page - view source.
It seems the only source of information the mentioned website uses is the style.css
Yes, just find the style.css file, which is located usually there and:
- erase information for the theme in the top of style.css;
- change THEME-NAME to SOMETHING-ELSE, renaming the folder containing your theme
Separate names with a comma.
