install the adware yourself, visit your page. hotbar is a popular one, I think lead impact uses it.

You can also download almost any free download CPA offer to see if someone is running cpv.

Has anyone recently been able to view PPV popups by installing Hotbar, ClickPotato, or GameVance?

On a clean XP computer I have, trying to install Hotbar gives the error message:
"Setup.exe has an invalid or disabled configuration. Unfortunately we are unable to install this file for you at this time. Please try again later."

I tried it on another XP computer and got the same error message, and I know it can't be cleanly installed on Windows 7 because the install gets blocked by Windows.

With ClickPotato, I get a bunch of toolbars installed, but no actual PPV popups after installing.

...And with GameVance, I registered to become a member, and I can play games etc, but it never prompts me to actually download any software which would give me popups.

Are they purposefully not trying to add new users? Or am I missing something? Does anyone know a way that works *currently* to see either Lead Impact or TrafficVance PPV popups? Please let me know, thanks.

Go to one of your CPA networks and install any free game, toolbar, media player etc. provided by (PB) PinBall corp. You will start to see pops when browsing the net.

    Like I said above...

I really appreciate you taking the time to respond, but when's the last time you actually did that? When's the last time you either went to Hotbar, totallyfunfreestuff, clickpotato, or gamevance and successfully downloaded something that served PPC popups?

I don't mean last year... I had hotbar installed a year ago on an XP computer working just fine, I mean now. But hotbar won't install for me now, clickpotato installs a toolbar but doesn't serve me PPC ads when browsing, and totallyfunfreestuff and gamevance don't actually have download/installations of any kind that I can find. With Gamevance, you just register as a user and confirm your signup and you can use GameVance, but there's no software download.

So - Please let me know if you've been able to take your suggestion lately or not. It seems crazy, but I can't install anything to get PPV popups. (And I'm in the U.S. by the way, so there's no IP issues)
    Thanks in a advance.
