keywords like 'best laptop 2022' is so clear.
all the serp is informational.

but some keywords have mixed intent.
1st result is transactional, 2nd is navigational,
on 5th, is the intent that Im going to post - informational (amazon affiliate blog)

in this situation, should I go for informational post or find another keyword?

I think that if you can cover multiple intents in the same article it's the best.
Otherwise, research the keyword further and find its longtails. Sum up the search volume per type of intent for the longtails, and this is probably your best bet.

You're not actually cannibalizing your keywords if you produce two separate pieces of content with distinct user intent.

In your informational post, you have to follow a certain structure that tips off the reader that this is informational and that calls them to action to your commercial page.

Your commercial page must be structured in such a way to heighten its effectiveness, but it should also have a link to your informational page.

This way, they help build each other up.

Because remember, every page that your visitor sees on your site is an opportunity for you to build authority and credibility in that person's eyes.

You have to look at your visitors as flesh-and-blood human beings.

And if you look at their journey through your site, you can set up opportunities for conversion by interlinking strategically between informative sites and commercial pages that would act as natural content extensions of the pages they're coming from.

The key here, regardless of what you do, is intent.

You have to deliver on the intent that the keyword being targeted by a specific page.

This way, your messaging is clear so that as a person goes from page to page with different intent, you build up your brand's credibility and this increases your chances of converting that visitor.
