If you use any expired domain website you can then use waybackarchive to find previous site content which often features a blog. Then you can use HTTP track to download that entire website.

Another way is using waywayback machine. If you go years back and find blogs, there's a high chance you could score expired blogs with a decent PR.

What you could do is spider tumblr (as an example) in your niche, lets say the adult niche.
You crawl say 1k adult niche blogs, and see who they have interlinked with.
Then you lookup the blah.tumblr.com and see if any is free.

Everything but the last step is doable with free & paid tools (scrapebox, and i forgot the name of the free crawler right now sorry)
And the last step could be done with ubot, zenno or imacros

For some reason old harvested databases turn up some great expired High PR to Reclaim. I have a 2 Million BlogSpot list from 3 years ago. I will be dammed each time I run the 404 check every so often I get a few PR 3s sometimes 4s. Recently I got a PR5.

I could shoot myself for not doing this 2 years ago!

Register compass is the best place to search for expired blogs. They will show you detailed reports of blogs especially those who are expired and is for sale.

You should use the search function. There are at least a hand full of worthy tutorials on this forum.
Don't like using bhw? No problem. Use google. It can be your best friend if you know how to use it.
