Couple of you may have seen a post related to this, but this is a bit different now.

I need to find customers that require metal-finishing services.

I have tried YellowPages, Looking at competitor's twitters (no metal-finishing companies have them)

I have tried calling companies and asking who their biggest clients were (LOL the employer I called didn't even know the answer)

Any way you can find these things out? Appreciate it!

Are you talking about bringing that business online? If so, you do it like everyone else, do some keyword research. I never heard someone do that niche before. Try to find if it is profitable first.

BTW, you can ignore what I said above if you do have that business running in your place. Build a website for your existing business is a different matter.

I am trying to find out which companies require metal-finishing services.

I am working for a company who needs some marketing help, and I want to create a list of potential customers for them to contact.

For example, the store works with some lighting company right now, and has hundreds of thousands of little pieces coming in (the bottom of the bulb) that need to get stamped to the right shape.

I don't need to find companies that provide metal-finishing services, I need to find the companies that require metal-finishing services.

    Thanks for the responses

ok ok..i see what you meant. You want customers. I suggest you find the products itself first. Then, find the retailer. Find out who produces those stuff and contact them.

Simple, ask them who their existing customers are....find out the SIC codes for those customers, then you have a starting point. Find a good list source that allows you to search by SIC code. Chances are a lot of those companies with same SIC code may require same services.
