How to find competitors on GMB(Google My Business)?

Log out of all your Google accounts, open incognito tab, and then search for related businesses in your target city on Google Maps.

Google only displays the primary category for any business when you see its GMB listing in search results.

You just have to search for the targeted keyword of your business and search on incognito mode and the 3 pack will show you, your competition.

  • Go to Google Maps
  • Discover contender's Google Maps Listing
  • Spot mouse cursor close to primary business class
  • Right-click on the contender's Google Maps Listing
  • Select the "View Page Source" alternative
  • Use CTRL + F or CMD + F to open the doc search box
  • Enter the contender's essential GMB class
  • Look through featured content in the source code to discover secondary classes

Google maps can be the best way to check your neighbors. But they most likely will be from other businesses, so they are not your competitors.
But that depends on the business niche for sure.
