Sorry guys, I do not know the proper place to post this, I just hope someone can help me out. Here is the story:

I was hired by an online adult dating website to do some consulting/advertising. I signed a NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with them. They were to pay me a set amount each month irregardless of their profit increase, and then a certain percent of their profit if I was able to increase their profit by a certain amount. Everything was fine the first few months, then the last month of our agreement (when I was really able to drastically increase their profit) they held out on their payment. There is a little more to it, but I am not seeking legal advice, I just need to file a lawsuit with them, because I have all of our emails. Here is where I need BHW help.

I met the claimed site owner on a forum. He gave me his email address and we started conversing through private email messages. I signed a NDA, and I never knew really who owned the site, whether it was a business or 3 individuals (as claimed). I do have the email address of the guy who claimed to be the owner, and my payments came from another email address in PAYPAL. I looked up the paypal email address in facebook, and found a guy who had the same name as was in both the email and paypal email (ex: Guys name is John Smith, email and paypal were like jsmith378239atxxx.com and johnsmith22atxxx.com). I cannot link them directly to the site though. I need to file a lawsuit for a few thousand dollars that they owe me (at least a few thousand, because they wouldn't show me last months profits for me to know how much I would have made).

So what is the best way to find out who is the proper person to sue? Again, I have a regular email address, a paypal address, and a name of the guy who claimed to own the site, I just need to link it all together or find out who owns the site. Any help is appreciated, feel free to PM me. If anyone can help I wouldn't mind making a donation, or I also have some adwords vouchers!

    TIA

Why not post the website directly here on the forum, might be faster for us to make a little research for you to find him.

didn't the 'whois' search show who owns the site? if you have that, contact an attorney.

If there's enough money involved, hire a private investigator for a few hundred dollars to find the guy. A good PI is worth his weight in gold!

Okay this has really set me back, so I need to figure this out asap. Thanks for all the help guys, I hope I can straighten it out. With all the time and equipment involved, I see no reason why I wouldn't be able to get the state maximum of $5000 that I am out. Any help at all is greatly appreciated and I hope I can reimburse you for your time once I get this straightened out. Here is all the info I have:

I met them on this forum. Their username here was mbeg11 you can look it up and see the posts.

The email address they used to communicate with me was:

    mbeglinger1 (gmail)

and the name was Martin Beglinger

All the emails were signed "Fabian" though.

    The paypal payments came from:

    Sent by: Mark Hausberger
    Buyer Email: mark.hausberger (gmail)

The website is an adult dating website. It is like facebook but instead of face the first four letters are the "F word". i do not think I can post URL's yet, I hope you can figure this out.

Thank you guys so much, this means a lot to me, I would really like to get these scumbags for ripping me off!
