    Someone's basement
    Home Page:
Hello, all I'm quite new to BHW so let me introduce myself to you. I'm Indrasish, a university student currently pursuing B.Sc in Computer Science. Upon attending classes at the university I realized a greater need of pocket money, and that's when I started freelancing. Mostly writing articles for people from all over the world, until I expanded my services and started offering admin support for affordable prices. But I'm currently taking a break to focus on a business I'm about to start. Now without further ado let's delve into the tutorial.

    The direct approach:

In this approach you visit the targets website (or social profiles) and scout through them with your hawk eye's, preying for email address. It's a bit time consuming and it might not work for some contacts out there.
We have this guy Richard Dulude on AngelList.
As you can see he has got his personal website on the Angel profile. So after comfortably landing on his "Under Construction" landing page, I could easily found out his email address as it had an email icon underneath.
But what if this guy was not that much generous? What if he didn't have his email address lying in the open for everyone to steal. That leads us to the next approach.

Some bird tells me your email id is...:

We have another guy Ritik Malhotra. This guy's got a plethora of social profiles listed on his AngelList page which makes it much more easier to find out his email address.
But in this method we are going to try something out of the box to find out his email address. For this we will need his Twitter display name (listed) and an awesome tool called AllMyTweets (search Google, free to use on-the-web app). Just put in the Twitter username of the target and click on "Get Tweets" to get all of his tweets listed in one page. Now bring up your find tool using ctrl+f and type in email, chances are he might have mentioned his email through his tweets at some point; which in this case Mr. Ritik hasn't. That brings us to a more advanced approach.

    The magical tool!

This is a spreadsheet (Email Permutator) on Google Sheets developed by Rob Ousbey. You will need to enter the full name and domain name, to get probable email id of a target.
So I take a wild guess and put in gmail along with Ritik's name. Then go to your gmail account and click on Compose Mail; paste in all of the email address and hover over them with your mouse cursor to take a look into the details. And voila!

    The blackhat method:
The blackhat method is, as the name suggests, blackhat and illegal. I will use our previous target Mr. Richard's website as a victim now. I will go to whois and ran a search on his domain name.
    Which gave me this..
Now navigating to the webpage mentioned I get the registrant's email id (in this case Richard's email id) with ease.

That's all folks! This is my first tutorial here on BHW and I really hope you guys like this. Also if you have any queries or concern then leave a comment or PM me. PM me if you want to get a copy of the email permutator Google Sheet. Please leave a THANKS if you find this tutorial helpful as a token of gratitude. Thank you!

I do stuff, people pay me.
    Whats illegal about a whois?

By that logic, googling anything is illegal.
