How do I find a niche and be competitive in it, and appear on page one of YouTube for it?

I hear people here do keygens etc but it seems silly to me because then I'm going to be in direct competition with all the rest of you and there's no way I'll make any money. Can you please give me some advice? If I made $20 a day I would be really happy with that!

I would be willing to pay for a good up-to-date complete newbie guide that talks me through every stage from start to finish. Including getting natural-seeming HR views.

I want to use something like FileIce to host files and generate cash.

Research some stuff that you know about and find out which niche you already know about is more profitable. It's much easier to go with a niche you already know about.

You should pick several niches and test each one out equally. Just because someone has success with a specific niche doesn't mean you will. Same thing goes with niches that people say don't work. Just test them for yourself and narrow down from there.

Search in Google 'Top Ten _____'.

You've got yourself a list of the top ten of whatever you searched. Do competition analysis on those keywords and profit!

Cheers bud, I actually did try that with movies, but again, it was pretty saturated.

Cheers man. In response to Calum, try think outside the box with your search. :)

Perhaps top ten drama UK, top then pc games. i.e be more specific :)

This is good advice. But people work differently with Youtube here than I do so what works for me is different than what works for them. Sometimes thinking outside the box and doing what others aren't is the best choice. Gather your own data.
