I've been following people on Twitter lately. I run into the problem of following people that don't have active accounts. How can I follow only active accounts? Does a service exist that shows what accounts are the most active?

I'm not using any bots. Can you suggest one?

Are you sure the accounts are inactive? Or have you not given the follows "saturation time" i.e. time for all the owners of the accts you've followed to actually have used/checked their acct to make a choice to follow or not? Or is there a possibility that the acct(s) you're following with aren't appealing to or primed for the people you are attempting to follow?

They seem pretty inactive to me. Just a few tweets over the span of months. I'd like to find accounts that are sending out tweets daily. Accounts that are actually talking to other people.

Tweepi seems to be popular. How many accounts can you operate with it at the same time?

Find big handles on twitter with multi million followers or those people who get lots of retweets and then try to follow those people who have Retweeted and "Liked" their tweets. That say you will have access to 100% active and real people.

your argument is flawed. an account with 3-4 million does not need bot retweets. then what's the point of all those followers if they can not even get 300-400 retweets? :-D even my 120k account gets 300+ retweets on avg

I'm not so sure about those numbers. I have a 50K account in nutrition niche and I don't get more than 5-7 retweets! I guess it depends on niche and content type (I work mainly with only-text messages).

wow.. that's extremely bad engagement. It does depend on niche but if 50,000 people willingly follow you then there is bound to be more engagement
