I just launched a new forum. It runs PHPBB3, I am looking for a way to do a fill in. I can create 50 users and 300 posts but that would take forever. Is there a tool, database script or something that can help make the process any quicker?

Yes, you may outsource posting itself or hire a programmer to white a quick script that parses content and makes posts. Not sure what will be cheaper.
You may find the sources you want to be posted for each section on your forum. Give them to a programmer so it can parse and run script until you feel you are done with auto-posting.
I've done that exact script before, so I can share/help you with this.

hmm, maybe you could make a super-spun post or something, export all of the spun variations into excel and write a quick imacros script to post a ton.. just my thought, that's how i'd do it if I didnt want to pay anyone.

It's a forum about a popular tv show. So alot of the tips here would work if i had somthing like milkshake. What i'm looking for is say i type in excel name:Forum Categroy:topic:content, i could crank them out, if i could import those into the database using the myphpsql thing, do an import of the data and have it load in the database.

It's got to be very specific and I dont want it to feel like i scraped or get dupcontent from another forum.

Copy a forum that's been deindexed or not indexed (forums that require registration to view posts). Doing it manually will take a while unless you use automation.

Can you elaborate on this? Here are a few more questions for you...

How do you find these de-indexed forums or forums that require registration?

Also, how do I go about scraping their content, and then easily putting these posts into my forums database, rather than manually posting.

    Thanks!
