Hi BHW members,

How to EVALUATE crypto?

Have you a guide to sorting FACT from FRAUD to ensure your investment is a SUCCESS?

Thank you for your tips

read whitepaper and tokenomics, and if its being promoted by newbie or fake account then mostly its fraud.

Check the past returns and the team behind it. The team should be doing good effort in marketing.

to avoid scam:
Understand how blockchain work
Read whitepaper
check out the team, last project portfolio etc
Read the Smart contract

To ensure sucess
check market target
current coin market cap
curent trend, and hype

If it's a token and not a coin, there's a higher chance it could be a scam. Obviously not all tokens are scams, but coins with their own blockchain are most likely to be legit.
Avoid meme tokens, tokens with no use cases, newly released tokens, and tokens advertised on /r/cryptomoonshots.
Always check who is behind the project. If the team is not doxxed or they have fake pictures, it's a big red flag.
Don't assume a project is legit just because the liquidity is locked. They can still rug pull or find other ways to scam everyone.
It's a good idea to read the whitepaper and roadmap, but remember there is no guarantee the team will stick to them.

Take a coin decide the buy and the not buy faces and flip it.

Do not invest in very new coins. Invest only when it gets listed on reputed exchnages. Then you can be sure that it is not a scam.

Use lunar.

I am not associated with them, but they give good matrices.

Fraud projects are run by anonymous people. Good projects have experienced people running them.

Past returns that coin has given can be good returns. If the coin is in market for few years, that is also a good sign.

Use cases, try to see a crypto that you wan't to use and that would help you every day and change your day in make it better. Use cases in that we need in the crypto now imo.
