How to drive traffic to and monetize a mybb forum?

    So just basically the title.
    5 days ago i bought domain and hosting and started my own mybb forum.. It currently has around 20 members and growing and is getting around 400 hits a day. I was just wondering how i would go about driving traffic to this forum.

    Also how would i monetize i was looking at adsense, chitika, selling adspace

    Thanks for any help/ideas.
