Hello guys, has anyone ever downsized their DigitalOcean droplet with a Control Panel installed before?

I've been trying to do this since yesterday but i haven't seen any success. Unlike other VPS providers, DigitalOcean doesn't provide any one click method to downsize. They only offer a one click way to resize/upgrade..

Is there any easy way to downsize my droplet with multiple sites and a control panel (Cyberpanel) on it?

Yes,you can downgrade your droplet.but I would recommend to contact their support.

I appreciate your help guys but I followed the instructions there before even putting out this post but they didn't seem to work in my case.

Hey guys sorry to bother but I have a question about digitalocean that I couldn't find the answer to.

When you create your first droplet you start with a 5$ plan, but what if my website jumps from 100 visits a day to 100k visits a day all of a sudden? Do they just update my droplet and increase my billing is that it? Or do I have to set up the whole website on a new vps and all that stuff again?

I'm basically looking for a place where I can just set up my website and never move to another hosting again, even if it reaches like 1M views a month, does digital ocean do that?

Thanks a lot

you can upgrade your droplet to a bigger plan anytime.

If you create a new $5 droplet it will remain like that till you upgrade so yes, you don't have any problem. Once you notice an increase in your traffic, you can upgrade your droplet accordingly without needing to setup your website all over again.
