    1. Video is muted.

    2. Click copyright under it will take you to this page about copyright.

    3. Press take me to the dispute form.

    4. Then when it ask you reason for dispute there are 3 options.
Click the 3rd bubble that says briefly explain.

    5. Copy this in quotes into the briefly explain.
"Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use"

    6. Write your name on the next step.

    7. Finally copy and paste that signature that says good faith.

    8. Your video should now be unmuted immediately if not it might take some time

I think you'll find this doesn't apply to commercial use, so if you link to offers/sales pages for ringtones etc you will find yourself in deep doda!

Unfortunately it works for somewhat one month then they take it down again. As somebody above said, it's a commercial use after all.

IT's never happened to me yet, but it will, so this will be worth a try.
Even if it saves 10% it will be well worth the time.

This only works with WMG or any other company. I tried this with UMG, but my video was removed, and I was given a account strike. UMG (Universal Music Group) doesnt care about fair use or copyright. Plus this doesnt work with copyrighted video content, that has video footage that is copyrighted. Just some advice.

I don't like pissing on a thread, so I'm not going to; however, music production is what I do for a living.. This method won't "save" you unless the material presented is no more than a few seconds long, and provided for educational purposes. You can call it what you want, but I'm sure your length doesn't meet the criteria for keeping you in the 'clear.'

Here's a GREAT example of 'fair use'
