How to Disguise Spam Links (for the noobs)

    This is an old trick and many of you will know it but, for the noobs out there:

    This doesn't work on all sites because of differences between platforms, but it's generally worth trying out when you're hitting a really nice PR6 or 7 but suspect you'll be spotted and removed quickly.

    It changes the link color to black, removes the underlining (if any) and prevents anything from showing up when the link is hovered over by the cursor.

    These links are treated as normal by search engines, and some of these are expected from normal users. In other words, it's not obvious cloaking and won't have any repercussions in Google. Good luck.

    What would be even better is changing the anchor text color to the background color of the particular page :)

    Why would you want to do that? Then there would be a huge obvious space in your text like blah blah blah " " blah blah blah

    Where the empty space with quotes is your keyword, without quotes of coarse.

    OPs method is good, and I've been using it for years now.

    You can put the keyword at the end of your comment after full stop :)
