Half the battle is getting into the zone. Just put your self in position to work... turn off all the distractions and start working, once you're in the groove you'll keep going.

Maybe it is your peer group... I find that i only like to surround myself with people that are more successful than myself. The reason is that I find it motivates me to do better and puts me in a scenario where people are in a position to help me and not sponge of me....

this is a good topic OP, laziness is a huge obstacle, sometimes it is very frustating to see that my im still doesn't give any pennies, while life keep goes one and require some money.

man.. change your system.. Work first before playing.. Or achieve even a very simple task first before going to rest or play..

Actually it's not laziness that we need to fight but rather procrastination (refers to the act of replacing more urgent actions with tasks less urgent, or doing something from which one derives enjoyment)..

Take away all the things that make you out of focus.. I even get rid of bhw for a few hours or days just to focus on some campaigns.. It works for me..

    1) Keep a consistent schedule with one that makes you more productive. I prefer doing 3rd shift but nukes my focus/productivity. That's why I try to keep a day schedule (wake up between 7->12am, sleep 10->4am.)

    2) A healthier diet and exercise. More recently I started shying away from my 1 large meal a day and no snacks to 2 meals a day (still no snacks.) Noticed that the time away from working allows me to refocus once I'm done eating

    3) Something to manage your schedule, clients and goals. This also made me instantly more productive and reduces my workload on invoicing and tracking.

    4) Supplements. I've not done an update in awhile but you could check out this thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...s/554067-productivity-journey-nootropics.html
Pretty much supplements that help with focus, memory and other cognitive benefits.

    5) Lastly, music. Try listening to pandora. Add a bunch of artists you like to a station. If you dont know what you may like you could try "Emancipator" which is chill music. Very relaxing.

I just have a big white board, and I write my goals on it for the day. Also, working on my own time schedule helps too. I stay up late (working) and sleep late. But that's just my schedule. Eventually you will find out what works for you! :)

What turns me off (ie makes me lazy) often is the size of the tasks - but if I break it down into smaller manageable tasks and insert a bit of 'play' between each one I can get it done.

Agree with Walandio - work before play then you have something good to work towards.
