So, I want to buy a laptop cooling pad, but after everybody says it doesn't work then I decide the laptop vacuum cooler, but again everybody says it doesn't work, then how I cool it? today it is very hot, 98 degrees Celsius. Maybe I post this previously in this forum but I need a solution. New laptop 1 year, core i 5 8th gen, ssd, nvidia.

Maybe you need to take it apart and re-apply the thermal paste and possibly replace the fan as it shouldn’t really be getting that hot.

hot laptops suck.. best bet is saving up to get a new one.

(macbooks have great cooling)

Those temps indicate bad ventilation, (dirty) or bad paste job. It's hard to say. Also, cooling pads do work. who told you they did not? Just get a good one.

What helped for me was a cooling pad, a factory reset, and building in an SSD. (I did that combination at the same time, so I don't know which one(s) did the magic)

cooling pad or vacuum cooler?
I've never heard of a vacuum cooling pad, Had to look it up. looks pretty cool. Not sure it's effectiveness tho. I guess it depends on where your fans and exhaust is on your laptop.

It depends on how many hours you use the laptop continuously?

Are you hearing any Grinding Noise inside the laptop?

If Yes, It might be the cooler fan problem Or If it takes much time than usual to boot on or if it strucks wherever you click, then it might be a hard disk failure.

It seems all is fine, SSD, really fast.

But then the problem with that is that you've got a macbook!
Haha!! Sorry, Apple fanboys. :)

Probably the SSD helped the most because with an SSD, unless you're doing hardcore gaming or running some very intensive software, the cooling pad isn't really needed.

better buy laptop cooling pad plus fun but would be nice to work in cool area or Air Conditioned.

Freezer works great. Put it in there for 5 min. and bob's your uncle.

First thing you need to find out is, whether any worms running in ur lappy un noticed & sucking up ur rss that is causing the high spike in temp. Just check the high cpu / gpu consumers in ur lappy.

So I have to buy an AC to cool my laptop? :D
Does your laptop have a button or something on it that allows you to overclock the GPU and kick your fans into high gear?

It is Firefox that uses the most power, and after I open some tabs, the laptop becomes very hot.
