Hey guys, there are a few companies in my area that I would like to offer SEO services to, however some of them don't have contact emails, only phone numbers. This isn't a problem for most people however since I am only 14 these companies are going to think I am a joke. Or if I give them a price of $125 (really cheap) they are going to try and low ball me because I'm a kid.

I've already called looking for the owners email so I can talk to them via email however they said that they don't give that away...

Should I just try and call them offering it? Or should I send them a letter giving them an email that they can reach me at... It's just if there is no number on the letter they may think someone is just trying to scam them.

Pretend that you are a customer inquiring for their services or products. And then ask for their other contact details aside from their phone number. :)

No, I'm ranking them for the first page, and I charge them $125...

And alright, I'll play it off like I'm interested in buying something but had some questions first for the manager/owner.

I have my own business and don't mind people calling and trying to sell their product that fits my business. If you called me I would listen as long as you are ready to guide me through what you are going to be doing.

Going a step further, I work from home so you may want to be ready to meet them in person at a local Starbucks to discuss further in person. For those in an office mention you can swing by their office when they have some time or the better idea is to take them out to lunch somewhere and bring your laptop. Enough of those and you will see people interested as long as your product is something useful.

I think you missed the point of Skyrockets question Exine. Charging $125 for first page rankings is like selling a Lamborghini for a bus ride. The only reason why they'll laugh at you is that they will think you're a desperate newcomer who doesn't know jack and wants to play in the majors. If you think getting them to first page is only worth $125 FOR ALL YOUR TIME then you need to reevaluate your position.

    Bottomline: Charge more...ALOT more!!

You might want to read hxxp://womeninbusiness.about.com/od/internetmarketingandseo/a/12-bad-seo.htm and realize you just look like a bad seo sales person. Also, learn some psychology sales tips (influence the psychology of persuasion by Robert Cialdini and Mind Control Marketing by Mark Joyner). You should be ok in closing deals if your product is well presented and who you are meeting with is your ideal customer (for psychological reasons).

You can always try to get someone else to do the calls for you.

I am 20, but I have a very "childish" voice, (I have been told by a lot of people I sound like I am in my early teens) So for me I don't do well over the phone. I do, however do well in person cuz I know how to dress and act professional.

For the phone calls I make, I actually ask a buddy of mine with a good voice to talk to the person, when the person asks questions I have my friend say that it is hard to describe over the phone, and then he asks them to arrange a meeting. -- I go to the meeting and talk to them.
