I searched but could not find this.

I saw an article at one time that described how to clone a Clickbank landing page. It involved going to the vendor's landing page, then click on "View page source". You basically copy the entire page and paste to an html file, then insert a special string of code containing your affiliate ID. Then you simply host the cloned page yourself.

Does anyone know how to insert the affiliate ID code?

I know this is probably a stupid question, so please don't flame me too bad.

This is not legal! I thought it was a great idea at the time but then I got BANNED! If you still want to do this after the warning I have just given you, go ahead, I will tell you how. You also need to download all the pictures and host them on your site or else it won't work. Some people put a hotlink leech protection on their websites. Just replace the order button link with you Clickbank ID. For example: <a href="yoursite"><image src="yourorderbutton"></a> Hope this helped! :plane:

Right Click > Save As > Save it to your computer

Download NVU (free html editor and open the page you downloaded click on the button that you click to purchase it and replace and change the link on it to your hoplink.

Then upload it to your server as index.html

That's how you can easily do it (or you could CS it but I'm not going to explain or promote that idea)

BTW even though I told you how to do it, I don't think it's a very good method. Just letting you know. I recommend finding other ways to promote it.

Thanks I'll try that! I believe the method I originally saw was in a newsletter from Micro Niche Finder.

Your method sounds like it will work.

I guess you will have to learn the hard way. This method converts really well. Take it a step further by buying the product you are promoting and making a copy of that download page. Then host the download page and setup your own payment system for %100 commission:saeek:!

Most vendors will let you do this If you ask. I have software that does it but can't share.

There is a WAY easier way to do all of this. There is a free addon for firefox called ScrapeBox that will scrape the entire page exactly as it is and save it to your computer saving all code, images, links and everything else. You just need to upload all that to your domain and you will have replicated ANY landing page in 5 minutes with two clicks of the mouse!

fastest easiest way to clone a website
it leeches all the images n shit from the original site

just view source code, and copy and paste into your own html file
and then add this line at the top to fix all the relative links, and you have a perfect mirror in 2 seconds flat

    Code:
    <base href="http://www.OriginalSiteDomain.com" />

Below, you can download a free app called Profit Protector that creates a "clone" html page of the vendors and it contains your hoplink within it. After creating the page, you just upload it to your ftp site. No need to duplicate the graphics, etc. It pulls all of those from the vendor's site.

A cool feature of this is the fact that your hoplink is encrypted within the javascript. That way, if anyone looks at the source code of the html page, they would not be able to discern what your hoplink is - or even that you have a hoplink :)

    You can download it here:
    Code:

@tacopalypse and Wizgizmo - thanks for those resources. I'm going to check both of them out, they sound pretty good.

@OP - If you use one of the other suggestions that involve editing the source code yourself then you need to set up the order button correctly. If you want to go from your landing page to the vendors sales page then your regular hoplink will work fine. If you want to uses your own landing page to complete the sale and then have the order button take them straight to the checkout page, then you need to set up the right type of link to do that correctly.

This is a response I gave in another thread regarding that topic.

But those software still don't solve the problem of hotlink leech protection!
If the site isn't protecting it's images then go ahead. But I still like to host everything on my own server just for security.
Imagine waking up one day and finding your images all blank boxes! :grouphug:

I just have one question about this whole process.

Where does one find the "product name?"

Obviously the affiliate ID and vendor ID, as well as the product number, are all part of the URL. I'm unclear as to the actual format of a product name to place in the URL.

    Thanks man! Fantastic share.

as an alternative way to link directly to order pages, you can use:

    Code:
    http://ProductNumber.AffiliateID_VendorID.pay.clickbank.net/

    example: http://1.yourmom_cbvmonitor.pay.clickbank.net/

this one doesn't require a product name.

however, afaik, none of the methods for linking directly to order forms allow tids, and tids are pretty damn important :\

if anyone knows how to cram a tid somewhere in there, feel free to post it :)

taco, I notice that one won't overwrite an existing cookie, though.

Try it with one affiliate ID, then another. The first one will still be the one tracked.

The product name and product number can be found in the merchant?s original checkout link. Do a 'View Source' on the merchant?s sales copy page, then locate the order button and analyze their order link.

Here is the format of the entire checkout link:

    Code:
    http://productnumber.vendorid.pay.clickbank.net
There's no other element to the link itself.
