    Hi There,

I already searched on Google regarding this. Not found the perfect solution for what I'm looking for.

Well, The question is: Can I cloak my Affiliate Link like this>> blogurl_com/gta5offer

As we can do this easily in WordPress Blogs. How can I do this in Blogger Blogs?

    Thanks

Just a heads up... I wouldn't be trying to build your business on Blogger.

You'd hate to spend a ton of time driving traffic/trying to get it to rank in the search engines, just to have Google say "Oh yeah, we forgot- we don't like people using affiliate links on Blogger" and wipe out your business.

Anyway if still want cloak, then just use TinyUrl cuz it's so easy!

Don't build a business on blogger.

TinyUrl or anything similar to that service works well.

He said Google can wipe your site out for any reason, so don't use blogger for your affiliate idea.

Reason??? I still see lot's of CPA, Affiliate, PPD and hell lot more blogs on Blogger. To be very frank more than WordPress there are Blogger Blogs doing all this.

I chose Blogger because it's true that Blogger blogs get traffic without content even.

Okay, Thanks for this :) I will go with Bitly

But brother, I saw many blogs on Blogger doing the same. So what is the solution. Even I can easily afford Domain but someone told me that Blogger Blogs get traffic when you don't have content on your blog.

That's Why I chose Blogger for this project.

    What you recommend here then?

    Thanks

    Though you have a point.

But using the Affiliate Link as a Sensible Manner. I guess won't hurt. I'm not running any Auto blog or anything that everywhere there is Ads, Links and all.

You will understand what we were talking about.

    Buy domain and hosting.

And try to establish your business with paid services. It's really long term business strategy.

A domain name is like $ 10 per year, hosting can be cheap too, if you're in it for the long run, I'd buy a domain name. Free blogs can be simply wiped out, you're giving your work to them for free.

You can ask these questions directly to a hosting companies through support center. Other option is offshore hosting. But I think you don't need offshore.

For blogger, cloaking the link may work until somebody does a manual review, then down comes the ban. The three main workarounds to this are, as I've suggested:

    1) Link to YT or similar Web 2.0 property, that in turn links to the target url. 2) Link to a email submit lead capture/squeeze page, then send emails with your urls to the opt-ins. 3) Offer a free download on a non-affiliate landing page link on the blog or YT page, using an Aweber or similar system, and have the exit or thank you page be the affiliate page.

Okay. Okay. It means I have to do some research on your method now. Okay. I will update this thread once I will come to any conclusion. I will consider everyone's Point and will make a strategy again.

    Thanks all :)

Yeah that might violate hostgator's terms. But it'd also be banned from Blogger in less than 5 minutes ;)
