How to clear Hostgator AWStats (Cpanel) Domain List?

    Okay so this may sound like a stupid question, but it's extremely annoying. The domain list in my Cpanel for hostgator is outdated, and contains domains that are no longer in existence. This list shows up when I go to Fantastico to install WP, it's also in my AWStats Domain List, and various other places.

    Is there a file or something I can edit in order to update this domain list so I don't have to sift through so many old domains to find the one I want?

    bump. also looking for this, hostgator support doesn't know how to fix the issue.

    IIRC...
    HG control panel ---> File Manager/tmp/awstats

    Delete what you want to.
    Test with 1 old domain first and then go look in awstats to see if it's gone. Think that's how I did it last time anyway...

    Not sure if this will work as I no longer use Hostgator, but you may be able to delete the domains using this :


    1. This intentionally blank
    2. Login to cPanel and click the File Manager icon.
    3. Navigate above public_html and enter the tmp folder.
    4. Enter the awstats folder.
    5. Find the file named awstats.yourdomain.com.conf and choose to Edit.
