I don't have Scrapebox to find pligg sites for my social bookmarking needs. I'm pretty much dependent on someone's generosity to get one. The problem is many of the sites just die and it's impossible to check each one. Here's a quick way to clean them.

I use the Scrapebox Free Link Checker

    Code:
    http://www.scrapebox.com/free-link-checker
There will be 3 files after the download.

    sblinkchecker, your-backlinks, your-sites

I put the pligg sites (to be checked) in the 'your-backlinks' file
I put "http://www.pligg.com/" (without quotes) in the 'your-sites' file

Basically, the program visits each pligg site, look for the pligg.com website. If it's there, it is tagged as 'FOUND.' Will not work if the site has changed the footer links.

    :p
