How to Choose keyword string to promote

I was just wondering, is there any way to find out how many times a search has been done on a certain keyword string... like if I wanted to know whether people searched more for "free public transit in new york" or "free public transit in NYC".

Also try the external keyword tool from g00gle. It won't give you exact numbers but there are graphs showing the approximate amount of search volume for a particular keyword.

i dont belive tools its better to try it out but for indication its great...

I prefer use external keyword tool from google. I try lot of keyword research services and all give different result.

grab some of the keyword analysis tools that are available on this forum ..
