No, there isn't any tool that I'm currently aware of. However, you can try to do a manual assessment of the ranking difficulty by analyzing the search results for a particular keyword. If most of the video results have a high video popularity (views per hour), good audience retention, excellent channel authority, and good user engagement then you should deduce that it is hard to rank for that keyword.

How do you analyse audience rentention and user engagement? Channel authority is easy to analyse I think. An example of excellent channel authority in a gaming niche is the channel of IGN, correct?

If you use SERPs keyword difficulty tool, how close do you think you can get an idea of the keyword difficulty of YouTube rankings? Since YouTube is also owned by Google, maybe you can get a good idea of YT rankings as well from SEO keyword tool?

People search differently on YT to G, for example, video games and music videos would get searched way more on YT.

The G Keyword Planner is better than absolutely nothing though.

I'm surprised no-one has come out with a YT SERP software yet.

Forget the Google Keyword planner! YouTube has its own Keyword tool which is very good, and is a pretty handy tool for keyword research and tags optimization. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/keyword_tool

Yeah I use that to check the monthly searches of the keywords. Need a software to check their difficulty. I'm surprised no one made it yet.

You reckon? Almost every search result comes back with "not enough data". I can't find a use for keyword research at all from it. How do you then?

If the search comes back as "not enough data" (< 10,000 searches/month) you should take it as a hint that people are not searching for that keyword and you should probably have a better choice keywords/niche or else you will hardly gain any natural views

By the way, Tube Sniper could help. I've never used it so can't vouch for it, but it's sales page claims to analyze video competition.
